RUGBY ACCIDENT, PLAYER LOSES PENIS DURING A GAME

 Haydn Peacock has had his share of injures in his rugby league career.
But nothing prepared the 25-year-old from Australia for his latest injury: a torn penis.

Peacock was injured after an opponent grabbed the front of his shorts while tackling him during a French Federation of Rugby League Elite 1 match in early February.

Remarkably, he played through the pain before checking himself. That's when the severity of the injury hit him.

"There's a photo of me screaming in pain, and I finished out the half," Peacock said, according to the French Footy blog. 

"The pain was alright and then at half-time I was like, I've got to have a look. I checked on it and the skin is half ripped off and I was like, 'S---, where's the doctor? Where's the doctor?'


"They had to go and get the UTC (Union Treiziste Catalane) doctor and he came in and checked it out and he was like, 'Oh man, you're going to have to go and get stitches,' so I had to go to the clinic that night and they had to put 11 stitches around it to put the skin back together.

"I showed all the boys and they were pissing themselves laughing. In all of my career I've never heard of anyone having anything like that happen -- 11 stitches in the d---. It was the game before we played Lezignan in the Cup.


"I remember I had to strap it all up for the next game. I just had to go around it. The coach wanted me to go out and buy a cup but I'm not going to play with a cup, I'm not going to be able to run. I just had to heavily strap it. It's all good (now). I got the stitches out and it's all sweet. No dramas."

FAN TO SUE MADONNA FOR STRIPPING HER NAKED IN PUBLIC

Controversial Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has stirred up another controversy again. The Imo State born actor spilled some messy beans troubling Nollywood. The fearless actor, who had serial battles with the embattled president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ibinabo Fiberesima revealed to journalist five names of movie producers who sleep with actresses for roles. According to the sources, Emeka Ike said:

But on a swift reaction to Ike’s outburst, former Monalisa Chinda’s spokesperson Egor Efiok popularly known as Bosslady has told Ike to keep quiet. Bosslady took Ike to the cleaners, she said:

The Use Of Satellites To Locate And Fix Potholes.... Conspiracy or Genius?

Ask any motorist and they will tell you exactly where all the potholes are on their normal route, so launching a satellite to search for them may seem a crazy idea, but it may not be as mad as it may seem.

Although the idea which has been put forward by Worcestershire County Council will certainly look for potholes, the idea behind the space technology is to monitor motorists’ behaviour, see where traffic congestion is prevalent and improve traffic flow.

The idea is in the embryo stages at present with Council leaders holding talks with scientists about the plans; they are also in discussions with a specialist U.S manufacturer to create the micro-satellites, which are known as CubeSats, which will record live details on congestion data while in orbit. They will also have the advantage of informing highway chiefs to potentially car-damaging potholes and road erosion.

As you might expect, the idea has been met with a mixed reaction and with local residents feeling the brunt of £30m council cutbacks, one person commented that: “Spending taxpayers’ money on satellites to look for potholes sounds almost amusing, but it is a barmy idea.” 

The Tax Payers’ Alliance was lukewarm to the idea, although they did not condemn it entirely, suggesting that if the new technology was employed, it would have to show savings elsewhere. Jonathon Isaby the spokesman for the group said: “It’s important to embrace new ideas that can help improve efficiency, but it’s equally important to only do so when it works.”

MAN BREAKS INTO CHURCH, MASTURBATES WEARING PRIEST'S ROBE

We often read about some odd things that people do and many of them come from America but this has to be one of the weirdest. It concerns a man who entered a church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and unfortunately for the man concerned, the church authorities had installed CCTV cameras after a theft from the church during last year.

The cameras caught the man, who had entered through a side door, which happened to be unlocked and he then proceeded to dress up in priest’s robes, parading about the church for about 45 minutes before heading for the altar where he proceeded to whip out his manhood and masturbated at the altar.

Naturally this has caused great distress to both the church authorities and the community as a whole, to such an extent that the priest had to arrange consecration before another liturgy could be performed.

 When the president of the board of St. Sava Serbian Church, Alexander Pogorzelski, was interviewed about the incident, he said: “There’s a strong sense of violation throughout the community. It has an emotional effect on everybody. It’s upsetting, distressing and you’re just confused as to why somebody would do this.”

Port Harcourt, Rivers state, witnessed bizarre/freak reports, as alarm was raised over reports from a neighbor's house. It was not as funny as i know this news will end up sounding at the end.

If you heard a man shouting “I’m going to kill you” and a woman screaming followed by the sounds of crashing furniture and dull thuds, you would naturally call the police. This is what happened and a number of neighbors went immediately to investigate what was going on.

The man appeared, looking rather flushed and very out of breath. Naturally everyone thought the worst and wanted to know where the man’s wife was, “I don’t have one” he said. 

When someone explained the reason for their quest, explaining that everyone had heard the screams, the threats to kill, the dull thud of flung furniture, “Come on mate, what have you done to her?” they asked. The rather embarrassed man explained to the bemused gathering that he was trying to catch a spider and it was a really big one!

In unbelief, and concerned about the screaming woman, they asked the arachnophobic man to explain the screaming, well that was me the man replied, you see I’m really terrified of spiders. I really hate them.

 Apparently he had been running round the house with a can of insect spray, we all found the incident amusing, but not before measures were taken and people had made a thorough search of the house to make sure the only thing that was there was a dead spider.

 Many people are quite scared of spiders and in one incident a person at a petrol filling station tried to scare a spider away from his petrol tank using a lighter, you do not need us to tell you what happened.

IS MAN READY FOR LIFE IN PLANET MARS? plans Are Been made

A successful experiment has been carried out by scientists at Wageningen University, under lead scientist Dr Wieger Wamelink to replicate the soil conditions found on planet Mars and grow vegetables. The results have been good and according to Dr Wamelink, the yields came surprisingly close to those grown in normal compost. The species that were grown were tomato, rye, radish, pea, leek, spinach, rocket, cress, quinoa, and chives and it appears that six of these were successfully harvested.

If all of this reminds readers that something similar took place in the sci-fi movie, The Martian, they would be correct as we are reminded that in the movie, astronaut Mark Warney, who was played by Matt Damon, also grew vegetables when he became stranded on the Red Planet. This led the researchers to try to emulate him, which they have done.

As Dr Wamelink pointed out, Mars simulated soil is fine as long as it’s prepared and well-watered, much better than moon soil, and whilst crops grew in this, they did only half as well. The project was the second attempt to try to see what kind of gardening could be done by any future settlers on the moon and Mars.

Naturally the experiment could not simulate exactly the growing conditions on Mars, growing on the surface would be virtually impossible because the planet is constantly being bombarded by energetic particles, making it impossible. They could however be grown in underground rooms to protect the plants from the hostile environment, including cosmic radiation.

This is just another of plans made to relocate some people into other planets futuristically. While we bother on simple problems, those who have foresight and believe in mans triumph over his challenges are planning a future for us..... better accomodation.

Finally! PSquare breaks up. Peter Okoye Says Goodbye, Performs Solo (Photos)

P-Square has crashed as Peter Okoye has started performing solo. He performed last night, at a gig in Abuja. 

This comes a week after he dropped a solo track.

It is true that both seem to deny this in part, but we expect that in no time, both will have to address the situation and give us a public statement. I really hope they can resolve their differences and stick together as a group. After all, This duo represents an image that we see as a unit. One of the last old boys group as Remedies and Plantation Boys all went solo.

‘The day you see either one of us do a solo song, then you can come back and ask if we have broken up, until then we still remain together’. These were the words of  paul okoye in a recent interview when he was asked about the break-up tale trailing the duo.

Sadly, the day has come. One half of Psquare, Peter Okoye has done a solo song, so it’s invariably safe to assume and conclude that indeed we have seen the end of Psquare.

BIZARRE ALBINO ELEPHANT SEEN IN SOUTH AFRICA......... I SWEAR SHE IS HALF CASTE

A pink baby elephant was spotted in a herd in the Kruger National Park in South Africa, as it went to drink from a river with its mother. 

Albino African elephants are an extremely rare phenomenon - even more so than among their smaller Asian cousins. The adorable baby albino was seen flapping its ears and playing around by the edge of the river, surrounded by its family in the herd.

 The little albino calf is set to face many risks, despite being in a fairly safe environment of the national park, which may help protect it from poachers.

 The lack of pigment in its skin is likely to cause skin problems due to exposure to the blazing African sun.

Why Nollywood Actress Ibinabo Fiberesima may be spending five years in jail

Let me start from the beginning so it's easy to understand. In 2005, actress and mother of three Ibinabo Fiberesima was involved in a vehicle accident on Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos that cost a man his life. She vied off her lane and hit the car of a doctor, Giwa Suraj, who was a staff of Lagos state hospital. Ibinabo was arrested for dangerous and reckless driving and charged to court. 

The case went to court and the Igbosere magistrate court sentenced her to five years in prison with an option of N100k fine. Ibinabo apologized to the man's family, paid the N100k fine and thought the case was over but the Lagos state government objected to the fine and took the case to a high court...

The High Court then said that the Magistrate court was reckless when they gave Ibinabo an option of fine for such an offence. The High court judge tossed out the N100k option and sentenced Ibinabo to five years in prison, saying that such an offence - reckless and dangerous driving which causes another person's death is liable to 7 years in prison. Ibinabo's N100k was subsequently given back to her.

So she and her lawyers took the case to court of Appeal, asking the court of appeal, Lagos Division, to set aside the prison sentence and restore the sentence she received from the magistrate court (N100k) but unfortunately, at the judgement that took place today March 11th, the court upheld the high court ruling and dismissed Ibinabo's appeal, saying it lacked merit.

Ibinabo was in court today and reportedly wept when judgment was passed. She and her lawyers are now heading to the Supreme court to appeal. If they fail at the Supreme Court, the AGN president will be spending the next few years in prison.

WOMAN BITES OFF HER BOYFRIENDS TONGUE DURING PASSIONATE KISSING

A woman, who was caught in the throes of passion while kissing her boyfriend, has allegedly bitten off his tongue in the process. 

Shakeia Long, a 37-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly biting off her boyfriend's tongue during a passionate kiss.

Long was sharing a kiss with Dwayne Williams, 41, when she chomped down and removed a chunk of his tongue.

Horrified, Williams managed to grab the piece of flesh and fled Long's apartment, in Hartford, Connecticut. He is believed to have flagged down a passing police officer and was taken to hospital, according to an arrest warrant.

Williams struggled to speak but was able to tell the officer "She bit off my tongue", the warrant says. He was taken to nearby St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center where the detached piece of tongue was placed on ice.

The man told investigators he had lost a lot of blood and began losing consciousness, the warrant alleges. Medics tried in vain to reattach the large chunk of tongue.

The alleged attack took place in Long's apartment in Hartford, Connecticut

Hartford police spoke to Williams after his release from the hospital and tried to track down his alleged attacker.

Long, who has a child with Williams, was quizzed by officers and admitted she had smoked a drug, PCP, with Williams at the time, authorities said.

In her statement, she claims she "was not aware of his injuries or how they occurred".

Long was charged with first-degree assault and appeared in court this week . She also faces a charge of violating the terms of her probation from a 2013 second-degree assault conviction.

Long is due back in court March 31.
