RUGBY ACCIDENT, PLAYER LOSES PENIS DURING A GAME

 Haydn Peacock has had his share of injures in his rugby league career.
But nothing prepared the 25-year-old from Australia for his latest injury: a torn penis.

Peacock was injured after an opponent grabbed the front of his shorts while tackling him during a French Federation of Rugby League Elite 1 match in early February.

Remarkably, he played through the pain before checking himself. That's when the severity of the injury hit him.

"There's a photo of me screaming in pain, and I finished out the half," Peacock said, according to the French Footy blog. 

"The pain was alright and then at half-time I was like, I've got to have a look. I checked on it and the skin is half ripped off and I was like, 'S---, where's the doctor? Where's the doctor?'


"They had to go and get the UTC (Union Treiziste Catalane) doctor and he came in and checked it out and he was like, 'Oh man, you're going to have to go and get stitches,' so I had to go to the clinic that night and they had to put 11 stitches around it to put the skin back together.

"I showed all the boys and they were pissing themselves laughing. In all of my career I've never heard of anyone having anything like that happen -- 11 stitches in the d---. It was the game before we played Lezignan in the Cup.


"I remember I had to strap it all up for the next game. I just had to go around it. The coach wanted me to go out and buy a cup but I'm not going to play with a cup, I'm not going to be able to run. I just had to heavily strap it. It's all good (now). I got the stitches out and it's all sweet. No dramas."

FAN TO SUE MADONNA FOR STRIPPING HER NAKED IN PUBLIC

Madonna who has been acting erratic since the beginning of her world tour did something really bizarre last night.

She invited a female fan on stage then pulled the fan's top down exposing her left breast. The fan and the audience were all shocked. After she did that she said:

'This is the kind of girl you just want to slap on the a**'. Then added 'Oh s**t. Oh sorry, sexual harassment.'

Controversial Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has stirred up another controversy again. The Imo State born actor spilled some messy beans troubling Nollywood. The fearless actor, who had serial battles with the embattled president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ibinabo Fiberesima revealed to journalist five names of movie producers who sleep with actresses for roles. According to the sources, Emeka Ike said:

Former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi has waded into the disagreement between the music duo, Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square after being highly disappointed with the way they're washing their dirty linen in public.

Disaster Hits Again In Maidugiri... Twice In A Row

Fifteen persons have been killed by landmines left by suspected terrorists in Nussa village of Askira Uba in northeast Nigeria’s Borno State.

It is not clear if they were civilians or military personnel.

Another three identified as Civilian Joint Task Force members were also killed in neighbouring Chul village in the same local government.

Sources say both incidents happened on Monday night.

Emerging reports also indicate that Boko Haram terrorists over the weekend set ablaze two trucks conveying relief items to returning internally displaced persons in Gamboru Ngala.

The trucks belonging to the International Red Cross were abandoned around Logumane Musini axis, barely 15 kilometers to Gamboru after offloading their contents following a breakdown.

Desperate insurgents hoping to loot items abandoned reportedly set the empty trucks on fire and retreated to their hideouts, sources say.

This is second disaster in a day. I believe Borno seems to be the major target for terrorism.

The Use Of Satellites To Locate And Fix Potholes.... Conspiracy or Genius?

Ask any motorist and they will tell you exactly where all the potholes are on their normal route, so launching a satellite to search for them may seem a crazy idea, but it may not be as mad as it may seem.

Although the idea which has been put forward by Worcestershire County Council will certainly look for potholes, the idea behind the space technology is to monitor motorists’ behaviour, see where traffic congestion is prevalent and improve traffic flow.

The idea is in the embryo stages at present with Council leaders holding talks with scientists about the plans; they are also in discussions with a specialist U.S manufacturer to create the micro-satellites, which are known as CubeSats, which will record live details on congestion data while in orbit. They will also have the advantage of informing highway chiefs to potentially car-damaging potholes and road erosion.

As you might expect, the idea has been met with a mixed reaction and with local residents feeling the brunt of £30m council cutbacks, one person commented that: “Spending taxpayers’ money on satellites to look for potholes sounds almost amusing, but it is a barmy idea.” 

The Tax Payers’ Alliance was lukewarm to the idea, although they did not condemn it entirely, suggesting that if the new technology was employed, it would have to show savings elsewhere. Jonathon Isaby the spokesman for the group said: “It’s important to embrace new ideas that can help improve efficiency, but it’s equally important to only do so when it works.”

MAN BREAKS INTO CHURCH, MASTURBATES WEARING PRIEST'S ROBE

We often read about some odd things that people do and many of them come from America but this has to be one of the weirdest. It concerns a man who entered a church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and unfortunately for the man concerned, the church authorities had installed CCTV cameras after a theft from the church during last year.

The cameras caught the man, who had entered through a side door, which happened to be unlocked and he then proceeded to dress up in priest’s robes, parading about the church for about 45 minutes before heading for the altar where he proceeded to whip out his manhood and masturbated at the altar.

Naturally this has caused great distress to both the church authorities and the community as a whole, to such an extent that the priest had to arrange consecration before another liturgy could be performed.

 When the president of the board of St. Sava Serbian Church, Alexander Pogorzelski, was interviewed about the incident, he said: “There’s a strong sense of violation throughout the community. It has an emotional effect on everybody. It’s upsetting, distressing and you’re just confused as to why somebody would do this.”

The man, as yet, has not been caught but is described as white and in his 20s and as a result of his violation visitors can no longer enter the church without first contacting the priest. There does appear to be some weird people about. hehehehehehe !

Most Unusual Phobia... i Am Going To Kill You Was All We Heard, Says Neighbor

Port Harcourt, Rivers state, witnessed bizarre/freak reports, as alarm was raised over reports from a neighbor's house. It was not as funny as i know this news will end up sounding at the end.

If you heard a man shouting “I’m going to kill you” and a woman screaming followed by the sounds of crashing furniture and dull thuds, you would naturally call the police. This is what happened and a number of neighbors went immediately to investigate what was going on.

The man appeared, looking rather flushed and very out of breath. Naturally everyone thought the worst and wanted to know where the man’s wife was, “I don’t have one” he said. 

When someone explained the reason for their quest, explaining that everyone had heard the screams, the threats to kill, the dull thud of flung furniture, “Come on mate, what have you done to her?” they asked. The rather embarrassed man explained to the bemused gathering that he was trying to catch a spider and it was a really big one!

In unbelief, and concerned about the screaming woman, they asked the arachnophobic man to explain the screaming, well that was me the man replied, you see I’m really terrified of spiders. I really hate them.

 Apparently he had been running round the house with a can of insect spray, we all found the incident amusing, but not before measures were taken and people had made a thorough search of the house to make sure the only thing that was there was a dead spider.

 Many people are quite scared of spiders and in one incident a person at a petrol filling station tried to scare a spider away from his petrol tank using a lighter, you do not need us to tell you what happened.

IS MAN READY FOR LIFE IN PLANET MARS? plans Are Been made

A successful experiment has been carried out by scientists at Wageningen University, under lead scientist Dr Wieger Wamelink to replicate the soil conditions found on planet Mars and grow vegetables. The results have been good and according to Dr Wamelink, the yields came surprisingly close to those grown in normal compost. The species that were grown were tomato, rye, radish, pea, leek, spinach, rocket, cress, quinoa, and chives and it appears that six of these were successfully harvested.

If all of this reminds readers that something similar took place in the sci-fi movie, The Martian, they would be correct as we are reminded that in the movie, astronaut Mark Warney, who was played by Matt Damon, also grew vegetables when he became stranded on the Red Planet. This led the researchers to try to emulate him, which they have done.

As Dr Wamelink pointed out, Mars simulated soil is fine as long as it’s prepared and well-watered, much better than moon soil, and whilst crops grew in this, they did only half as well. The project was the second attempt to try to see what kind of gardening could be done by any future settlers on the moon and Mars.

Naturally the experiment could not simulate exactly the growing conditions on Mars, growing on the surface would be virtually impossible because the planet is constantly being bombarded by energetic particles, making it impossible. They could however be grown in underground rooms to protect the plants from the hostile environment, including cosmic radiation.

This is just another of plans made to relocate some people into other planets futuristically. While we bother on simple problems, those who have foresight and believe in mans triumph over his challenges are planning a future for us..... better accomodation.

TENANT KILLS LANDLORD OVER ELECTRIC BILLS

DETECTIVES from Ondo State Police Command have arrested one Tope Akideji, who allegedly punched his 75-year-old landlord, Kayode Osunkalu, to death over electricity bill. Information gathered has it that the suspect is being interrogated at the homicide section of the Command.

The deceased, a retired civil servant, owned a two-storey building located at 17, Ayeferere, Street in Ondo town. Officials of Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, according to a source, reportedly brought a bill to the house and the deceased invited all tenants for talks on how to settle the bill.

An argument over the settlement of the bill ensued between the suspect and the landlord when he gave an ultimatum that all tenants should contribute their share within 24 hours. He was said to have expressed concern over the huge amount owed and directed that all tenants endeavour to pay by all means to avoid disconnection by officials of the electricity company.

Things were said to have gone out of control when the suspect said that the ultimatum could not be met by the tenants. The landlord reportedly tongue lashed him and held him by his shirt for several minutes.

The intervention of other tenants failed to separate them, following which the suspect reportedly punched him and he slumped. The deceased was rushed to the state Specialist Hospital in Ondo town, where he was later confirmed dead by the medical personnel on duty.

Contacted, the Divisional Police Officer in Enuowa Police Station, where the matter was reported, Chief Superintendent Kunle Omisakin, confirmed the incident. Omisakin said the suspect had been transferred to the homicide section for further investigations.

Meanwhile, the remains of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue of the state Specialist Hospital for autopsy.

The Senate Committee on Communications has revealed an ongoing N300 billion proposal between MTN and the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, over the N780 billion fine imposed on the network by Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC).

At an investigative hearing in the National Assembly, the Vice Chairman of the committee, Senator Adeola Olamilekan, produced a proposal by MTN where the network provider insisted that it could only pay the total of N300 billion out of the N780 billion fine imposed.

The breakdown of the proposal, which was forwarded to the ministers of communications and finance by the solicitor-general as well as NCC Executive Vice Chairman, Professor Umar Dambatta, consists of a N50 billion already paid by MTN into a recovery account of the Central Bank of Nigeria in good faith and another N100 billion to be paid via electronic transfer between December 31, 2016 to December 31, 2020.

The Vice Chairman of the Committee, Senator Adeola Olamilekan, expressed concern that the Attorney General of the Federation and the Presidency kept NCC and the Minister of Communications in the dark in the negotiations with MTN over the fine.

The Central Bank of Nigeria on Monday said it has commenced discussions with the National Education Resource Centre to introduce financial literacy programs into the education curriculum of secondary schools in Nigeria.

It said once the discussions with NERC are finalised, Financial Literacy would be taught as a subject in all Nigerian secondary schools before the end of this year.

The CBN Director, Consumer Protection Department, Hajiya Umma Dutse stated this when she led a rally to flag-off the global money week in Abuja.

Global money week is an annual event that creates awareness amongst youth and children by teaching them about savings, investments entrepreneurship and employment generation through interactive activities.

Represented by a Deputy Director in the department, Hajiya Khadijat Kazeem, she said the commencement of the financial literacy program would assist in improving the savings culture among secondary school students.

She said, “At the CBN, we are partnering with numerous agencies to teach our children and youths about financial matters and also to create an enabling environment for them to gain access to basic banking and financial products and services through various initiatives, especially the financial inclusion strategy.

“An important aspect of this strategy is the implementation of financial literacy programmes across various target groups of Nigerian population.

“Children and youths are an important target group for the purpose of the financial literacy programme. We believe that financial literacy is better learned at a young age instead of in adulthood.

“The wisdom is that, a habit imparted in the youth at an impressionable age becomes a way of life.”

She explained that where the youth grow without financial education, it would be difficult for them to have financial literacy as well as being capable of managing their own financial matters in a way that will impact their well- being when they become adults.
