Stretching before your workout puts you at risk for pulled or torn muscles. "Always stretch at the end of your workout,"

Bouncing during a stretch can increase your risk of straining or pulling muscles. Instead, "hold a static stretch with no movement at the joints. Your body should feel lengthened but not to the point of pain."

Many people expect dramatic results from a little exercise. "Current recommendations are for 3 1/2 to four hours of physical activity a week just to prevent weight regain, If you want to lose weight and you're walking 30 minutes, three times a week, without changing your diet, it will take roughly one month to lose a pound.
Want to lose faster? Exercise more.

It is actually better to do your stretches after exercising than before. After loosening up the muscles by working out, its better then to do your stretches than prior.

News flash: There is no such thing as the “best program. The “best program” is the one that helps an individual reach their individual goals and is sustainable, fun, effective, and safe. Obviously, there are other important factors to consider, but it’s often that simple. Here are several parameters to look for in a good program
One of the most common weight loss challenges that men face is the pressure to be tough.  “Men are macho, so they might push too hard, go too heavy or do too much too fast and then burn out or get injured,” says fat loss expert Tom Venuto. He recommends consistency and steady improvement for long-term results.
