Already, tele-porting is possible and has been achieved. The only problem is the irregularities and kinks that are yet to be worked out. Distance over time is still plagued by failed transfer.
To transport an item from one place to another is to copy it over. Once you find out you can transport an individual from one spot to another without duplicating him, Airplanes will go extinct gradually.
Tele-pads,Quantum ports and Air portals will be what we will see in airports. Believe it or not, man is fast getting there.
